Do you need a grille? We think this email from one of our MX5 customers ( through www.MX5Bitz.co.uk) who bought the mesh grille says yes!

Yes thank you. It turned up at work last week while I was away on holiday so I only got it today. It looks great and seems fairly easy to fit.

I bought it mainly for practical uses though after just having to have my cylinder head skimmed and other things fixed after a stone (a rock?) went into the radiator while I was doing 70mph and drained it PDQ. I still don't know if I have to pay the ?1000 bill or whether my insurance company will cover it. Either way I don't want it to happen again. I'm sure it's a design flaw leaving such an exposed radiator.

How can I warn others of this?

Ford Focus Mk1 and Mk2 Woven Badgeless Upper Grille

This grille is produced from electro-polished stainless steel woven wire mesh. Even the rim is stainless steel with an EPDM rubber edging to protect the paintwork and provide a snug fit. The Racegrille is very easy to fit and installation only takes 15 minutes.

The grille is badgeless due to popular demand. Access to the bonnet release lock is made through the mesh itself due to precision engineering locating the mesh in exactly the same place every time.
