What is Type Approval and how will it effect me ?
Type Approval is manufacturing legislation that effects catalytic converters. It is due to be implemented in the UK
in the very near future having been effective in most of Europe since the early 1990s.
If your car has a manufacture date after January 2001 you will require a Type Approved cat when the legislation is introduced.
